
Offerings
Woodland Homeschool Fellowship exists to help spread the feast of Classical and Charlotte Mason philosophies of education, without overwhelming our schedules.
2024-2025 Details
Who: All homeschool families are welcome, though our activities are based on a Classical and Charlotte Mason education.
What: We provide homeschool enrichment during Fine Arts Friday, Natural History Club, family socials, and field trips. We offer a summer book study for Moms and additional fellowship opportunities spread throughout the year. See below for all of our offerings.
When: Depending on the activity, usually one Friday per month from September to May. Additional events are sprinkled throughout the year.
Where: Lincoln and Casey Counties, though families from any county are welcome
Why: For homeschool families to make friends, foster those relationships, and enjoy enrichment activities together

Natural History Club
Together, parents and children will intentionally study nature, outdoor geography, and object lessons.

Fine Arts Friday
A day of hymns, folk songs, handicrafts, poetry, reader’s theater, art, picture study, and composer studies.

Recitation Days
A day for recitation of memorized poetry, speeches, passages, verses, poems, and the like.

Classical Field Trips
Annual visits to the theater, symphony, or museum to complement our learning.

Mother Culture
Mothers will gather for an annual tea and a Mothers’ summer book study covering an encouraging homeschool book.

Family Socials
A time for whole families to fellowship.
