Expectations
Woodland Homeschool Fellowship is meant to come alongside homeschool families, growing together in faith, wisdom, and friendship.
For families participating in our monthly Fine Arts Friday and our monthly Natural History Club, we ask you to attend regularly. Each meets once per month. This will foster camaraderie within our community, and allow leadership to properly plan activities and gather materials for our group size. If you cannot attend a meeting, please notify us as soon as possible.
Parents are expected to stay and supervise their children during our gatherings, ensuring child attention, participation, and safety in the activities. At the end of each meeting, we ask families to help reset the facility.
We would love all Woodland mothers to join our annual Mother’s Tea, summer book club, and Mother Culture enrichment day to encourage one another throughout the year. Participation is not required, but encouraged!
We are a community of Christian home educators and expect everyone to follow the Golden Rule.
Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor; not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality.
